Terms of use
Last updated 14 September 2026
Coffee Env is a personal tool, run by JP.Coffee and offered by invite. Using it means accepting these terms.
What it is for
Keeping deployment configuration — .env files — somewhere encrypted that you can reach from more than one machine. It is not a password manager and not a runtime secret store, and it should not be used as either.
Your passphrase is the only key
Nobody can recover your data without your passphrase or your recovery key. If you lose both, your data is permanently unreadable, and that is not a fault in the service. Write the recovery key down.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is, without any guarantee of availability or fitness for a purpose. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. JP.Coffee is not liable for losses arising from its use, to the extent the law allows.
Accounts
An admin may pause or close an account that is misused. A closed account can still export its data. You can delete your own account at any time.
Changes
These terms may change. The date above says when they last did.
